TDF moves for expeditious hearing against University of Western Ontario

The Democracy Fund asks the Superior Court of Justice for an urgent hearing on Western University’s booster mandate.

TORONTO: The Democracy Fund (TDF) lawyers and Lisa Bildy of Libertas law will be in court twice this week in London, Ontario, to address preliminary issues regarding the lawsuit they just filed against the University of Western Ontario.

The lawsuit contends that the university is unlawfully collecting private health information on students to enforce its unique and ill-advised booster mandate. TDF and Bildy have asked the court for an urgent hearing as the academic year has already begun and UWO students need to know their rights.
